I made this flower basket with one intention-frosting! My neighbor had a birthday and her only request for the cake was a whole lot of chocolate frosting and no need for fondany; which I obliged. I had always wanted to try this frosting basket weaving technique and this was a perfect opportunity for that. Also, I wanted to practice my frosting roses, which I have since learned works a lot better with a thicker/stiffer buttercream recipe. But as I have said before I’m learning by doing.
